Time

Time

A Poem by UnapologeticPoet
"

A depiction of the passing of time and being caught up into the grand scheme of things.

"
The passing of time
So slowly yet so hasty
Like fine sand slipping through my fingers
Never to get the exact grain back in my palm again.

The beauty of each moment drowned out by the next
Overlapping so swiftly they become a blur that we call our lives
Gently falling from our grasp.

Mindless sheep following the clad clothed wolf who is leading us to failure
Failure to live our own lives
Failure to be fully human
The wind blowing the sand out of my hand is just the hot breathe leaving his nostrils

Fight fight fight you must fight
To be a light in this field we all graze.

The passing of time. Can steal who we are. I liked the energy of the words leading to the solid ending. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

I liked it a lot, but honestly I don't think it needs the last two lines, it paints a beautiful picture. thank you.
