Empty

Emptiness is a powerful emotion
One that can take over one's soul and tear their confidence to bits
It sparks up like a newborn star
Not noticed easy
Scarcely noticed at all
But as time marches on
So shall Emptiness
It grows slowly, expanding, gaining more layers and more strength
The more strength, the more it takes control
You slowly sink into it and settle into the nothing of this Emptiness
Left alone to think of why you feel so lowly
A broken heart.
A life changing heartbreak that shocks your heart and stuns your mind
A heart stopping end to your world that wears down the barriers that protect from harm of ones emotions
Emptiness is an emotion that drains the heart and destroys one's feelings

I took only a few minutes, it's a major roughly written poem and not my best work at all.
