A Memory Caught In TimeA Poem by Dorian GrayA poem about remembered love and time spent. When you walk on up to the cold city streets, The breeze would hit like a winter’s edge. Recollect all the time’s we would meet, It was there, my first real love I said. We’d walk on down to the same park and bench, Where the trees would flow and the leaves would fall. I’d keep her safe from the cold
and rain, These days I will forever recall. I’d love to see if her eyes are
still ocean blue, And her lips are still ever so
soft. Tell me if her eyes are still that
deep ocean blue, If so can you please wipe away the
frost? I hope to see her again someday Would she recognize me today? Sometimes I’ll look at the moon at
night And I hope for her it’s just as
bright. So, if you’re near those cold city
streets Look for that park just down the
end And if you see two lovers meet
That’s where he’ll remember the time they spend. © 2013 Dorian GrayAuthor's Note
