HauntedA Poem by Dorian GrayA broken heart finding it hard to let go of the past. She put trust in all of me, The things I didn't see. I thought it was all the same, All the pain blinded by my shame. So what now can I say? I would give anything to go back in time, And make things between her and me alright. She means everything to me, I gave her my heart and the key. Even years later my days are still
nights. She’s only a dream for me today, A distant memory only I can see. I don’t think anyone should love
this way. Wishing I can go right back and
keep her away from me. I can’t keep her away, Even when I’m dreaming I can’t
keep her away. I can’t keep her this way, Even when I’m dreaming I can’t
live this way. I have to rip her out and tell her
she can longer stay. © 2013 Dorian GrayAuthor's Note
