Mister Doom PuppetA Poem by Dorian GrayWe all love a poem about a puppet. What about a nasty scary puppet? Worth a read hopefully to some. Reviews would be great. He hangs off rotting strings Covered in filth and drowned in nightmarish things Oh you should see him grin. He comes out to play as soon as daylight dies You don’t want to hear him sing. He makes all the children cry When he visits them with little stings. He’s made of fur and bone, The devil’s stink. Driven by spirits, so far from home. If you choose to watch he’ll wink. Hangs off the walls and off the beds Wherever the flies lay their eggs, He’ll watch you sleep and possibly play dead His hollow body reeks of death In the dark of day in the corner he’ll wallow At night when you walk he’ll follow. Don’t look behind you for it may be your last breath. Don’t feel scared, frightened or mentally impaired, Because you can always try to hide under your bed. He’s the doom puppet and your family friend. © 2013 Dorian GrayAuthor's Note
