A Violent DeconstructionA Poem by Dorian GraySeeing the problems that someone has put upon me and seeing the pain i have put them through. Hoping in a new world we could do much better the second time around and not make the same mistakes.
I dream of toxic faces
Clouded by poisonous places This is what I’ve paid for So don’t look so happy Because I’ve got a new creation - Another reason to climb the wall of shame Just give me another reason Because it’s all the same This is a dying season So don’t look to me to blame I see me laying lonely, drawn towards the fire (and I’ll see the dark of flames) Instinctive but destruction’s forced, (educated bird of prey) Knowing only my own demise, (and you’ll see I’m not afraid) We’ll start again in the common world (and you’ll never see mistakes remade) I want you to feel this I want you to hate this Look up at me and cry for more Look up at me and die some more © 2013 Dorian GrayReviews
