The thoughts that seep into my mind
Of you and I intertwined

You arouse me when you’re not even present
Even without voice or message

Your scent lingers in the air
Lasting long after you’re no longer there

I breathe deep taking you all in
Anxious to do it all over again

Know, you flood me with emotion
Hardening my devotion

Eager for what the future holds
The sweet sound of your praises and your scolds

Time has stood still since our eyes locked
Your lips parted and you talked

The sweet sound of your angelic voice
Muting the surrounding noise

I knew immediately I was to be yours
For your love holds all of my cures

I liked it..You know as I am reading your poems I am feeling as if you are one of the best poets here when it comes to love poems..I liked the way you expressed about that person..Love is actually like that even though the person is not near you but that person is always with you..Love can either heal all the cracks or it can be the cause of all the cracks to your soul..Love is not what will always give you a happy ending rather it can be the cause of your sad endings too..But in both form you know what is true is love..To be practical , no one will ever want to be in love with someone when the only thing that you get from it is pain but its far more easy to say than to do..Even though you are injured you just can't get over it and you still remember the days when you held each other hands tight..You know to bring back those memories you don't need to be physically around them in fact at that time all things in this universe give you memories of that very person.You can hear that person's voice without even being around them , you can feel that person without that person being there with you , that is what love means..I just want you to get over all those things that hurt you..I know its the most difficult thing but its not impossible either..Anyway , the poem was indeed great..
