Insufficient Funds

Insufficient Funds

A Poem by Sumo

Torn apart inside, my tears flow just as my blood runs
A rarely ceasing current, you bank on my love as never ending funds

Manage your investments we'll and see what's to gain
If you don't, it all may have been in vain

You are wealthy with my love but be careful my interest may drop
And the stores may be empty next time you shop

Withdraw and watch as our balance crumbles
As your once massive fortune buckles

It takes change to add up to a dollar
But only to those who take the time to bother

These bonds may not last forever
Then who will be the begger

With responsibility you must include more than just yourself
At risk is more than your own wealth

To wield the power that can destroy or enhance a person
One should be cautious to not get the wrong version

It takes regular deposits to sustain growth odds are we'll end up bankrupt like most

Credits false sense of security must be paid back
I just hope we can stay, in the black
