Forever Yours

Forever Yours

A Poem by Sumo

You ask me why I want you to be my wife
You're the only one I want to be with in this life

You fill me in ways I didn't know we're empty
You brought meaning to the word destiny

I caress your hand so you know I'm there
You're my love beyond all other care

A mere thought of you sends my heart racing
My mind stuck, all day pacing

Every moment we're apart, all I want is to be with you
By my side, full of laughter and smiles always too few

An eternity with you won't even come close
It'll just have to be enough, I suppose

So I promise to make the best of even the worst
Because without your love, I'd die of thirst

You replaced hurt with hope and pain with gain
You conquered my demons, leaving them slain

My heart will always be yours, this I gladly give
For eternity I promise, as one we'll live
