Destinies Ride

On the road, the wind forcing itself around me
On the way to fulfill Gods destiny

Excitement and fear fills my mind
Cause I'm on my way to see you for the first time

Faithful our paths crossed for a reason
I'm happy I'm no longer dreamin

The closer I get to my destination
I can't help but have slight hesitation

Will you see my beauty inside
The same way my words rhyme

Heaven sent, you're my Angel
Beauty inside and out at every angle

You glide toward me embracing in a hug
My heart sings for that's what you tug

Hand and hand we take a seat
I linger on each word you speak

Losing myself in those heavenly eyes
My Angel is real, to my surprise

A short time passes and we begin our ride
You hold on tight, our bodies collide

Maneuvering through gentle curves
I think to myself, just as beautiful as hers

Feeling free of restraints caused by a car
Feeling free of pain, that made us who we are

Just as I look ahead on the road
I look toward the future and what it may hold

Searching for danger, staying alert
My promise to you, I'll never hurt

With each stop I put my foot down
giving thanks to Jesus and his crown

For the roads we traveled that got us here
And knowing now, neither of us need to fear

At his feet I place my pride
And thank him for each future ride

I'll always protect your heart and love you so
Spending the rest of my life just to show

Real love does exist and honest men
You'll never have to risk your heart again

We started as seeds and yet aren't fully grown
But with belief in God, we shall be shown
You by my side and him in my heart, is home
