Unfortunately work and life has slowed us down
But I still feel a loss when your not around

My words with more meaning than ever
This life we've begun, this journey a wonderful endeavor

Our roles we both search deep to discover
I surrender to you because I could trust no other

My entire self I hand to you, as you wish
I try so hard, to be all you want to accomplish

Faithful our path we will find

A seed we've planted in this new family tree
