Music is Music

Music is passion.
It gives you some sort of reaction.
Music has attraction.
Music at times makes you relaxed.
It makes you turn it up to the max.
Music helps you forget.
It makes you feel like you reset.
Music inspires you.
Sometimes, it depends and it can make you blue.
Music makes you want to dance.
Like you have ants in your pants.
Music mostly makes you feel happy.
But not if you listen to something crappy.
Music makes you want to listen to it everywhere.
You always listen to Music somewhere.
Music is my favorite thing to do.
It helps you get you through.
I will never stop listening to Music.
Music makes you feel like you have pride, because Music is Life.

Recently, I've had relatives tell me that I should start listening to worship music...and only worship music. That seems unfair. Their is plenty of secular song than are meaningful and thought provoking. You just have to find them. Maybe music does effect a person's mood, but my philosophy s that music doesn't make people. People make music. I never put myself into the context of a song. I simply listen to it and understand it. Only a few songs have been powerful enough to effect me at a personal level, sure, but I always analyze a song before I ever try to relate to it. That is why music doesn't effect me the way a lot of people believes music effects most people.

Again, this isn't a formal review. I am simply offering my thoughts. Thank you for sharing your poems.
