EVE'S DIARY

EVE'S DIARY

A Poem by Summer Nazarian

In the night I feel your touch
Holding me
loving much
I can feel you next to me
I can feel you on top of me
pressed up against my skin
You are the greatest sin
Flesh of my fesh
bone 2 bone
You are Eden
call me home

Original man
you are
you are like a falling star
Cast out of Heaven
to go through Hell
Prodigal son
why'd u fail

You were my first love
sent from the heavens above
Cast down because of sin
live a life
rebellion

In the night I feel your touch
holding me
loving much
I can feel you next to me
I can feel you on top of me
pressed up against my skin
You are the greatest sin

Original man
you are
You are like a falling star
Cast out of heaven
to go through Hell
Prodigal son
why'd u fail

Summer, what I read here is the narrator talking to God and his created mortal man. He resides in us, men and women, the divine threads that keep us attached to Him, weave warmth when we need it, and also grant us the freewill to stray, drift from His teachings and principles. You've captured sin well here, and how we're saved when we draw closer to Him. Given the depth and art in this poem, I'm surprised I'm the first to review it. Nice work!
