Valentines Day Poem

Chloe,

We may not have know each other long,

Heartbreak may have brought us together,

But I feel the shared bond,

No matter what, it will be there forever.

No matter the distance between us,

Nor our differences,

You will always be worth the fuss,

I’ll send you all the love references,

I don’t care what you look like,

What interests you,

For you, I’d take the hike,

With this poem, it’s you I’m trying to woo,

So Happy Valentines Day,

I hope you’d be mine,

And you wouldn’t shy away like a fae,

But please, just give me a sign,

Before it’s too late,

Before I say night,

Though I’ll always wait,

As long as you don’t fight.

This poem is my gift to you,

There isn’t much else I could have done,

But this is just one of two,

Because to me, you’re like the sun.

Happy Valentines Day,

I hope this poem found you well,

I’m sure you look lovely, by the way,

Like an angel that just fell,

Down from Heaven.

So I’m sorry, my dear,

that this isn’t much,

If I could, I would have done so much more,

All my love to you.
