My thoughts begin to catch up with me

I’m lost in the hue of the vision that paints you

In distant memory your energy caresses me

As I reminisce on the kiss your fingertips left on my skin

The aroma of your aura lingered the lightest scent

I’m strung on the lullaby your heartbeat sang to mine

And the sunlight in your eyes that warmed my darkest sky
