FairytaleA Poem by Wesley SuiI in all fairness just know its a poem about fairytales
When the time came to be
Mamma, Papa or Grandpa would read to me All challenged beyond what the world could see But that isn't all bad We all need to break the walls that keep castles sad As I grew from younglin to lad Mama always wanted things to be happy Cheerful, Joyous and dandy Where the prince and princess dance gladly She knew happiness wasn't always concrete That was clear on the battlefield street While others begged for something to eat But the couldn't keep her spirits at bay So she would always say "Happiness is what you make of today." Papa wanted the adventure Always with that bright denture Even with the stakes against him for sure When all was in danger His courage was no stranger And always the reminder Of the man with the flying carpet Who once was in a tarpit Free by courage and his adventurous merit Grandpa with this reading glasses Never had many classes Knowledge given to the masses But the one thing he did That stays with me since I was a kid For as much as they forbid Is that he would give his own tale Of all the lives that were taken not for sale Many who would not see their partners in or be under the veil The motto he would always hold with a harden tone And always make sure it stayed like stone "Learn from the tales of those who could've flown" Fairytales are not all with a happy end But like fables from a friend They have a lesson they would like to send
