Smile For A While

Sometimes I just have to put on a smile

when I haven't felt like doing it in a while.

It's not something I have to force myself to do,

whenever I'm near or standing right next to you.

One moment with you is better than two without,

when I'm with you my thoughts begin to cloud.

I can always just be myself with you boy,

time spent with you is the time I most enjoy.

You are constantly on my oh-so-busy mind,

as if you lived there, I'm never alone I find.

Recently I've been thinking on you a different way,

I cry rivers for you at the end of each day.

You'll move on quickly just like most guys do,

but I'll still be here weeping over you.

Now-a-days I have to put on a smile

thought I haven't felt like doing it in a while.
