A poem of the heartbreak known with betrayal

 

What we are is undefined
A mystery no one can find
Should we give up on lovely dreams
Sense nothing is what it seems
You take everything away
Will you ever give it back
Our lives are intertwined
We used to be so free
Wrapped up in an embrace
Now freedom is unclear
Where do I go from here
Insignificant things
Are ripping us apart
Squabbling like birds
What do you want me to say
I know who I chose
And where I left my heart
But you are not the same
There was no even exchange
Because your heart did not take mines place
There is an empty hole there
As I lie here on the floor
Unable to think of living life
Without living with you
As I slide the knife out of my chest

 

 

It's a shame

My diamond heart has long sense been dead

And there was nothing left for you to kill

I look back on our memories with fondness

As I'm the only one alive

I wanted to eliminate two with one stone here...this passage clearly defines the moment of this verse...I saw the error and had to pinpoint at the same time...again many lines of sorrow here...but I believe this stanza stands alone...
