The Monster

She's hiding from the monster...she's all alone now.. .Please read, id like some feedback ^__^

All alone in the dark,
She crouches in fear,
How can she stand
The gruesome sounds she hears?

A monster is close by,
Searching for the girl,
Cautious of the things
That she might hurl.

She trembles and cries,
At the sight of his face,
Desperately wishing
To be in a different place.

The monster has found her at last,
And snatches her small arm,
Enjoying her face
That is filled with alarm.

She closes her eyes,
And wishes herself away,
An angel appears saying
That she must stay.

So she tries to take the pain,
Though she is just less than ten,
Her daddy doesn't care,
And keeps hitting her again and again.

She can't hear the horrible sounds,
Now her mother is dead and she knows,
So the little girl forsakes the angel,
And just
Lets
Go

Interesting dark tale you've managed to write here "feeling unknown where you are alone, flash and bone by the telephone" that verse from a song came in my mind when I've finished reading your work....great job, love your style
