Do You Remember?

Do You Remember?

A Poem by Amanda
"

We used to be the fondest of friends, but that long ago came to an end

"

Do you remember me?

I remember you.

Our memories are in everything I see,

Our memories affect everything I do.

Do you remember that one time?

We were just hanging out,

Our worries small as a dime.

You were my best friend, without a doubt.

Do you remember our biggest fight?

It was over something so small,

A contest of pride; who was wrong or right,

Do you even remember it at all?

If you don’t remember any of that,

Then you must remember the end,

The day when everything crashed around as I sat.

The last night I could call you a friend.

Do you remember me?

I remember you.

Maybe patience was the key,

We will never know, it’s too late,

I watched you go, our hearts tainted with hate.

I really like this one too. Lots of people can relate to this. Loosing friends is extremely hard, but it's part of life.
