The StormA Poem by AmandaThe storm isn't always on the outside
The storm isn't just outside.
It isn't just some rain, It's a brooding darkness inside, Stirring emotions like unbearable pain, With every turning page it worsens, Lying in wait to control you. It'll hit you soon, And you won't know a thing to do. You'll be helpless against the monsters, The ones made by fright. They'll come for you every time, Blocking out your light, So don't think you're safe, From the rough things outside, Because there will come a time, When you will wash away like the ocean's tide, Wishing that you had the sense to just die. © 2012 AmandaAuthor's Note
