September's Curse

September's Curse

A Poem by Amanda
"

Everybody has a curse, this is the Desrosiers

"

I always thought it was a joke,

That maybe you need a check in the head,

But now we really do know,

September’s the month you end up dead.

Only yesterday you told us,

That Bella broke the curse,

I guess that isn’t true,

Because soon we’ll be following a hearse.

I find it kind of ironic,

That she died on the day,

That you thought the curse was broken,

But this morning you learned not everything was okay.

Goodbye, old memere,

Happy Birthday, Bella,

Were you wrong?

Or will the curse still carry on?

Amanda
My dysFUNctional family is full o all kinds of irony. Today's latest being that my old memere passed away on my sister's birthday (it only took five years for her birthday to land on labor day again). Anyway, like I said, ever family has a curse. The Poulin's (my dad's dad's side of the family) have big boobs for the women and big noses for the men.
Anyway so watcha think?

~RIP Old Memere~
