Fluffy Bunny

Fluffy Bunny

A Poem by Amanda
"

-Not to be confused with chubby bunny ;)

"

I watch it rest,

And eat the grass.

Some consider it a pest,

But not me, I’m on my a*s.

It’s quiet, yes,

So the bunny stays,

But take a guess,

Why I don’t have the strength to raise.

This bunny here,

Is the only thing that hasn’t left yet.

Everyone steered clear,

But no, not this pet.

Does it believe in me?

If it does, that makes one.

Maybe I’m too emotional to see,

That maybe I shouldn’t be done.

The fluffy bunny hops away,

Thinking its purpose is was to help me cope.

It’s job well done, cause hey,

I have some hope.

Very nice. I love the underlying, deeper meaning behind the simple, big picture of the bunny. It takes some thought to be truly understand, yet doesn't leave the reader puzzled. I quite liked it. Nicely penned!
