SometimesA Poem by AmandaThis is about friends that play pretend, hurting the receiver more than they know.
Sometimes I don’t feel like playing third wheel,
But I do anyway, Because that’s my part in this lopsided deal. Sometimes it hurts real bad, When I’m the only one who’s there, But still you choose one who makes you mad. Sometimes I feel like you don’t care, But no matter how upset I feel, You always seem to clear the air. Sometimes I see, How little I mean to you, How much more you mean to me. Sometimes I wish, That when you leave me out, I wouldn’t feel such dis. Sometimes you know, Just what is wrong, But won’t relieve the woe. Sometimes you do try to fix it, But you’ll never do your best, So I remain an ugly zit. Sometimes you’re all I got, But it doesn’t matter to you! You have the friend you sought. Sometimes I wish it would just end, That you’d stop playing pretend, And own up to not really being a good friend. © 2012 AmandaAuthor's Note
