History Of Us

History Of Us

A Poem by Amanda
"

A brief history from when I was little to present.

"
You are my hero,
and everything you do,
I look up to.

~*~*~

Do you fail me?
I'm not old enough to tell,
that love is not what's in your yell.

~*~*~

I doubt myself now,
but I can't believe it,
even if the pieces fit.

~*~*~

You're letting this happen.
Why?
Is it because I cry?

~*~*~

I was never enough,
I know this now.
I have to be tough.

~*~*~

Will I ever fit in?
I don't think so,
All I ever hear is no.

~*~*~

There are three little words,
that I have to say,
but I can't, be that as it may.

~*~*~

This is too much.
I can't take it anymore,
I have to walk out the door.

~*~*~

Have I always known how this will end?
Or am I just a little girl,
trying to play pretend?

it may sound sad, but it was very well pieced together with emotion and a story to tell. Great job!
