A String of Unraveled Subconscious ThoughtsA Poem by Sugar is not sweetA poem that came from a place I don't understand, the subconscious. Why must we be Unfriendly when I have no choice But to follow you Amongst other peers. The way you look at me As if I were a tin can Only time will tell the difference. Perhaps if I had a bag To throw around I would be able to see The plastic swirling around my face. The shades of grey it contains The crinkling sound that erupts from its place The blinding highlights and reflections it releases A simple no would've been enough.
