He's There

He's There

A Poem by Sugandha

She came to him sobbing
"It's deceptive" she said.
He held her hand
And firm it was
"Don't be scared, I'm there."
She knew she ain't easy
Fretful so she was
He immersed her temper within his truce
"It's pretty" he said
And made her to amuse.
Enraged she was.
He has a reason
Then why so mime?
"You say, I'll listen" he said.
"We can't  get mad at the same time."
"Wait" she said, "Don't ever leave me"
He held her hand and firm again
"I can't, I have to take care of you"
Good thing was she knew that too...

I love to get lost in these spaces in between a dialogue... Nicely written...
