Her Invisibility Cloak

A sister will always be your best friend. She's your mate, your confidante, your parent your partner in crime, your guide, your teacher, your kid... Hold on to her always. She's someone you can trust.

Sometimes I cry

Sometimes I don't

Sometimes I can't

But she hears, in all times.

Sometimes she says a word

Sometimes two

Sometimes none

But I smile at all times.

Not her words

Neither her silence

Would help the crying to choke

What does the trick and it always will,

Is her beautiful Invisibility Cloak.

The Cloak that says "I'm there"

The Cloak that spreads to nowhere

The Cloack that shields me from menace

The Cloak that scourges the heinous

The Cloak that supports me through perseverence

Even in the absence of her presence.

She's assertive, the protector

My sister, friend, mentor

She's truly dependable

And even though a day without her is a day I always dread,

It's Her Invisibility Cloak that is indispensable.

I like this poem very so much. My sister and I fight a lot in stupid things but the next minute we are like best friends. I respect her a lot, through she does not notice that. As much as we both hate to admit it, we both care for each other a lot. And in a way are best friends, and always hang out together than with friends. Plus we both say the same thing at the same time. This is a great poem.
