HopeA Poem by Sugandha
At the dawn it was born
Till dusk it lived on Surviving moment by moment Hope lasts for only that long. Hope of a light in the darkest of the hour Hope of a bud to become a flower Hope that dwells inside every heart No matter how much you want With hope you can never part. The lost searching for direction The dejected mourning for compassion The frail aiming for the valiant The sinner waiting for remission Hope is the one to give mercy Hope has been and will always be. Hope is the evil that prolongs despair Hope is a doubt in reverse gear Hope is a protest to the truth's might Hope is a lie yet so right When will it end? You will never have a clue You may abandon hope
But hope never abandons you. © 2014 SugandhaReviews
