Strong alone.

Strong alone.

A Poem by Suditi
"

We are all alone, but we don't have to be lonely.

"
Strong alone

As the pages revealing secrets, turn,
As heaps and heaps of memories, burn..
We know each line is gonna bring cruel truths,
we had always tried to hide inside,
The memories will come after us,
Even those, which we thought,
we had left behind..

The moon was often cold and mean,
But as we start doubting the sun..
The frowning faces were always there,
But as the loving masks, come undone,
We realize, nobody is ours forever,
Not even our shadow,
Yes, thats right..
Because like an unfaithful friend,
it doesn't stick with us,
when its complete dark or excessive bright..

There are only two inseparable  lovers,
I've been able to find,
One is the heart,
The other is the mind.

Yes, they quarrel over and over again,
Cause a chaos, even when the motive is the same,
But whenever the heart is weak,
the mind takes the lead, and guides it through,
And whenever the logic, the rational, fails,
and it needs console and strength,
The heart comes to its rescue..

And it is, when we start to believe,
 We are strong,
We learn to care less about the things gone wrong,
And when we stop segregating the tears and the smiles,
We start taking in our ever so surprising,
Yet wonderful lives.

As I began to read I was reading a story I have heard many times. The words and rhyme were good but the story was the same, than it turned a corner and you started to go into something deeper. It was as if you were making beautiful argument for the cause of being alone and than you turned another corner and said something profound. Embracing the full experience of life. Sure we have heard this before, but how many of us understand it at the level of the heart. Awesome write.

Love the first two lines and how you unfold as you go along . The part about hearts and mind well thats pretty insightful.

First - the thoughts brought forward were worth the pause and visit. The clarity of the content and its relevance worked. The language is right, and so is the tone. There are stumbles to its rhythm and flow - but I wouldn't change a thing.

Nice write... and its so true...

The shadow also wont be with us every time. But there are some facts to give hope that some one will be with us to support us, let the flame of faith be alive during the heavy storm.... Only during the testing times we realize it and again when things return to normalcy we too retreat to the old statements, "No one is going to come with us, its gonna be 'I'..."

I love how you stay with the topic on this and give a really constant tone that actually gives a chance to be emotionally captured.

Excellent grasp on the relationship between heart and mind. Now harmonize and realize how they function as one.

Solid piece of advice, this!
I especially loved the part about how head and heart fight but work together. :-)
