Yawn

Yawn

A Poem by Subterannean

Sunlight rolls out of bed,

cosmos coo-coo

for its Cocoa Puffs,

my pockets chewed

for metallurgic breakfast.

I'm tall caramel macchiato-

cream, two sugars.

Scratching my five o'clock,

as birds proselytize around ten.

crying jubilant vernal

tears; gesundheit.

Sidewalk eros, more or less.

Note hips, note legs,

 note breasts, note sundress.

The mellifluous below,

lewd chord progressions

played in the key of

my libidinal cathexis.

Finally, up.
