city without a name

city without a name

A Poem by Subliminal Silence

watching the world as it falls
there's nothing here anymore
looking into the eyes of the damned
and here we aren't anymore
.i've seen the errors
of a thousand different ways
and no longer can i taste
the sweet tears of your sweat
nothing is the same as it once was
the passion and love have gone
and twisting at the end of a rope,
i see now the death of love
trailing in the shadows
darkness swallows the iniquity

all alone and nowhere to go
all alone and nowhere to go
all alone and nowhere to go
all alone and nowhere to go
all alone and nowhere to go

sucking the fumes into my lungs
anything to numb the pain
snorting the ashes and cutting the flesh
to dull the pain that has consumed
the world i thought i knew
is nothing at all but half a dream
burning flesh above a yellow flame
hoping that one day, just for one day
feeling shall return to these nerves
.i never knew the difference
between love and forgiveness
trust and the lies we spit
help me watch the dream to fall
as we watch the world die

all alone and nowhere to go
all alone and nowhere to go
all alone and nowhere to go
all alone and nowhere to go
all alone and nowhere to go

This title and your name caught my eye.
I am glad i came to read. This poem is one of lonliness and has a feeling
of being so isolated.. this made me feel sad, but it is well written...
