Walls smoked of mossA Poem by Subham ChatterjeeWalls smoked of moss . © Accentuation by Subham Chatterjee on July 12, 2011 . *** Walls smoked of moss ***
With an essence lost and found, A yellowed snapshot trapped in an hour-glass, Cramped with memories off round, A picture, a tale of tales, does pass.
Off break, save the stint of oblivion, Do we stand intimidated with the flowing neon, Is it time, which is passing by, Sand by sand, down through, or is it just You and I , just, You and I. With each new place, a harbinger across, Dark doors, side lanes, walls smoked of moss, That where lies an empty soul in me, By and by, lonely and free.
With every light dim, far and near, With every touch cold, stone dark lear, With every smile fake, chased by tear, With every dream lost , grounded with fear.
Perhaps , with an essence lost and found, Perhaps , cramped with memories off round, A picture, a tale of tale does pass, Long amidst the rising sun over the mass.
