Arc 3: State of Calmness

Shigure stared at the hundreds of Kaname's clones in their individual capsules. Seine kept her eyes on Shigure's sea urchin spiky hair wondering how it became the way it was. While Seine was distracted by Shigure's hair, she didn't notice the M1911 pistol that suddenly appeared on Shigure's left hand. Shigure pointed his pistol at one of the clone capsules and Seine noticed it immediately since it entered her field of vision. Seine then tackled Shigure but it only caused Shigure to pull the trigger, firing a bullet. Seine was relieved that she diverted the bullet away from the capsules. However, the bullet exploded into five small wisps that flew toward one of the capsules. 

「Surprised? It's a special Mana Bullet called 'Star Bullet'」 He arrogantly smiled at Seine while keeping his eyes stoic. 

Seine ignored Shigure's bragging and checked the capsule that the Star Bullet had hit. 

The liquid that flowed out of the capsule immediately dried up and a Kaname clone was on the floor face down. 

「Kaname-san!」Seine ran toward Kaname's clone and Shigure shot a bullet that past beside Seine. Suddenly, Shigure appeared next to Kaname's clone. 

「This is good enough」Shigure stepped on Knaame's head in attempt to see his face. After checking Kaname, Shigure walked toward the computer panel beside the original Kaname's capsule. He pressed a button of a key pad and a small cylinder vial emerged near the computer screen. After he grabbed the vial, he reached for a syringed with a meter on top of it. Just like any other syringe, he used the needle to get the contents of a vial inside the syringe and the meter hand moved from left to right. 

「What are you planning?」Seine asked Shigure who was currently walking toward Kaname. 

「.....」When he reached Kaname, he kneeled down and stabbed Kaname with the syringe. 

「What did you injected inside Kaname-san?」Seine asked Shigure another question. 

「It's a Mana Drug. One drip can knock out a girl in a bar」Shigure answered Seine. 

「Why did you do that?」

「I need this idiot for something」He stood up and looked at Seine. 

「Noelle」Shigure called out Noelle and Noelle appeared out of nowhere. Just like the Noelle Future Seine showed the Present Seine, Noelle has an absurdly long white hair and golden eyes. Her outfit was like of a ballerina but her shoes were wooden sandals with 10 cm long soles. 

「Shigure Shigure!」She had her fist clenched and leveled up right next to her chest which was double the size of Seine's. 

「What is it?」

「Thank you for naming Noele, Noelle!」She smiled at Shigure like a kid. 

「....」

「Shigure Shigure!」

「What?」

「Are you feeling Summer? Spring?」

「A little bit of summer...」

「Really...? You look Winter」

「Maybe....」

「Noelle, will you listen to my favor?」

「Yes!」She stood straight and saluted at Shigure. 

「Bring this kid to where I am when I tell you to. Until I call out your name, stay here with him」Shigure rubbed Noelle's head and she went toward Kaname and sat beside him. 

「I brought the Gate!」The Future Seine came in the room carrying a white single flush door which she laid down and Shigure immediately kicked the door open and ran in the door. Without thinking, Seine tried to chase Shigure but she was stopped by her future self.

「You are going to stay with them」The Future Seine pointed at Noelle and Kaname. 

「Okay....」Seine knew that even if she ask why she needs to stay, the answer she will receive will be something way above her head so she decided to give up and stay.

After shigure went through the Gate, he was transported to the hallway he was running in before. The moment he stepped he feet on the metal floors of the Frenteria, he immediately fell down. 

「What....?」He looked like he received a painful attack than he received from San-go. After he struggled to kneel down, he looked at his right palm while heavily breathing. Suddenly, a miniature purple sigil hovered above his right palm. The Sigil of an Outcast was different as it has two different distinctive features. An Outcasts' sigil has a triangle inside the circle and it's points are outside of the main circle. In place of the tips of the triangle, three miniature sigils merged with the main circle and all of them are slowly spinning individualy. Aside from the unusual sigil, a heavy smoke like something was oozing out of the sigil. 

「Mana Leakage....Of all times...It was from Ardena's attack....That is not enough to stop me, Ardena. (I was hit with her Point Zero Mana...that might have spread open the old scratch. Point Zero Mana....What makes it different than Condensed Mana?...Zero. I see...it's really easy....)」Shigure struggled to stand stand up but he made it up by leaning on the wall on his right. 

「1.....2....!!」Suddenly, magenta colored flame envelope his fists. 

「I won't give up yet」He recovered his calm posture and the Point Zero Mana dissipated.
