Arc 3: State of Calmness

Outcasts, an aberation of an average Spell Casters. They use different sigils that go against the law laid upon the use of Spells. Whenever someone hears the "Outcast", an evil image pops up first. Outcasts are the physical embodiment of evil...

「Naru... Remember that your Mama and Papa love you」 My mom rubbed my head before they hid me inside their closet. Behind her was my dad who was guarding the door. 

「I'm scared....」 All I did hat day was cry my eyes out. Suddenly I heard a banging on the door. My mom immediately placed me inside the closet and closed the door. My dad then grabbed their lamp and threw it to the window, breaking the window panel. 

「Run! Naru! Run!」 My mom screamed as the door got busted by someone. 

「What do you Outcasts want from us!?」 My dad embraced my mom as they asked the two Outasts that broke in to our house. 

「That is a simple question!! It's because you guys are rich!! ahahahahahah!!!」 One of the Outcasts burst in laughter as he cast a spell and murdered my parents. 

I couldn't stand it, I felt like I was about to lose myself. I was aware of my abilities back then so I grabbed a paper inside my bag and tried to draw something that will avaenge my parent's death but my hand stopped moving. I was so scared that my body stopped moving. After that day, I swore that I will kill every Outcast that ever existed...I don't who it will be...all I want to do is kill them...crush them...

It took me only two years to achieve my goal but I was arrested and confined inside an insane asylum for three years. After I was released out of the asylum, I met Nonoka... Shirogane Otohana is her real name. We were placed in the same room when I enrolled in high school. Even after leaving the asylum, I still carried my hatred toward Outcasts but after sending some time with Nonoka, I thought that it doesn't matter anymore. 

When I came in the RPG World, I thought that I could totally forget about what happened. I even found someone I love... Kurogane Kaname. He is really nice and cool person. I started to dream about what it could be if confess my love to him, it was like a fantasy that could happen  anytime I want to. However, the past won't let go of me that easy. 

「Kaname-sama is an Outcast, a powerful one」 That was what Rokka told me. Just hearing what she said, I couldn't think of anything aside of killing Kaname for betraying me.

I saw Kaname-san confined inside a capsule, that wasn't the thing that shocked me...it was the fact that there were thousands of Kaname-san inside their individual capsules. Below a single capsule, there are a single metal sign. The one that was separated to the other capsules was the original Kanme-san since the sign said so. Just like the Kaname-san I knew, he was wearing a similar black blazer uniform. 

「Kaname-san....(why is my right side is really cold?)」 Now that I noticed that only my right side was extremely cold. When I decided to check what was on my right side, I saw a different capsule which was slightly slanted than Kaname-san's capsule. It didn't have the liquid inside like the Kaname Clones since it was frozen. Smoke was coming out of the capsule because of the extreme temperature in the capsule. When I approached the sign, I saw "Outcast Shigure：Test Subject Type 0. *NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, NEVER OPEN THE CAPSULE* " Whoever wrote the sign didn't really wanted Shigure-san to get out.

「You came early, Seine」 The future me appeared behind with a big smile on her face. 

「What does this means? Who is Shigure-san?」 I immediately asked The future me as she got loser to me. 

「First thing is...Sorry about lying to you」 Without losing her smile, she apologized to me. 

「Lie? What do you mean by lying?」

「Oh! Remember what I told you before? That Kaname-san will get killed, I will go out on a whim here and say that it is impossible to kill Shigure.」 

「What...」

「Also, the Noelle you saw is also a false one...I couldn't ask the real one to speak normally without her stupid terminology. Basically, the moment you saw me everything that you've heard are false...at least the ones that came from me」 She laughed like she was about to play a prank on me. 

「Why would you do something like that?」

「Hmm? It's not like I wanted to do it, it's just I have to do it since everything will be messed up if you know too much at that point. Imagine if I tell you that the Kaname you know is actually Shigure's mind stuffed into Kaname's head at that moment, would you take it normally. I don't want to become an insane again so you  have to be normal」 She started to explain things that I couldn't comprehend. 

「Anyway, this is your choice Seine. Would you like to have the real Kaname back... of course with his memories with you are intact or... do you want let Shigure out and again the memories intact as well. You can pick both but be prepared for the consequences though」 After hearing what she said, I looked at Kaname-san's capsule and Shigure-san's capsule. I couldn't pick since I was hit with a sudden dillema. 

「I'll go with both」 

「I see. Okay...yeah,yeah」 She spread open her right palm and a giant hammer appeared. The head of the giant hammer was light purple with black stripe lines at the edges. She then posed like a baseball player and hit Shigure-san's capsule. The glass of the capsule shattered into pieces. The smoke of the capsule enveloped the contents. Suddenly, someone emerged from the capsule. After he moved out of the capsule, I saw his absurdly spiky black hair that could make a sea urchin ashamed by itself. 

When he turned around to face us, I saw his fierce blood red eyes. He was wearing a black semi-long coat that reaches his knees. Since his coat was unzipped, his steel gray shirt was exposed. Unlike Kaname-san, his expression was cool and calm. 

「The two Seine there, bring me back to the Frenteria」 His voice was also cool and calm. 

「Aye,aye, I'll be taking the gate and be back for a few minutes」 The future me ran away while humming a song. 

「Anna really needs to hold back on that sword of hers...」 Shigure-san checked his chest then saw a hole on his shirt and laughed through his nose.
