Story Six: Windows 7-Chan's Message

Day 74 

Master was having another hard time using me. Because of me Master was having a hard time writing his stories and playing games, it's because of me, Master can't play some of the games he wanted to play. It's because I am a dud and a useless Operating System. I can't do anything, I just watch him get disappointed that he has limits on what he can play. That is all for today

Day 75 

Master was typing a chapter for his novel but I fell asleep while I was watching him type and I suddenly shut down. Master was unable to save what he was typing, he was on verge of crying. I wanted to apologize to him but I don't know a way to say it to him. That is all for today 

Day 76 

After what happened yesterday, Master looked at me with really bored eyes. He just stared at me the whole day without touching me one bit. The whole day was just a staring contest between me and Master but we can blink anytime we want. I enjoyed Master staring at me the whole day but when he was about to shut down, Master said 「Maybe I should get a new computer and change to Windows 8」

Day 77 

After hearing what Master had said yesterday, I decided to run away since Master will replace me anyway. I will run away and die somewhere and Master will forget about me. This is my last entry in my diary and I will write my farewell letter to Master. 

「Master, I deeply apologize for all the problems I caused to you. I don't know if you will be able to find the message I left you but if you do, I once again apologize for all the problems I gave you but you will not have any problems once you get Windows 8-chan to replace me. I hope that you will have a nice life with Windows 8-chan, farewell Master」

Vision Change ~ Subaru Vision ~

「time to work again~~!」I did a bit of stretching and opened my laptop. What I saw was completely different than I usually see, 
「Blue screen.........?」I was surprised to see the blue screen of death right after I opened my laptop, 
「Wait, what is that button there」I noticed a button on the bottom right corner of the screen, when I pressed the button a notepad file opened, 
「................. Windows 7-chan!!!!!」I exclaimed after I finished reading Windows 7-chan's message, 
「What'sh wrong Shubaru-kun?」PanTa-Chan came in the room as soon as I scream, 
「Windows 7-Chan ran away!」I answered PanTa-chan, 
「We should look for Windows Shevun-Chan, Shubaru-kun」PanTa-chan ran out of the room to look for Windows 7-Chan, 
「Kuroha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!」I called out to Kuroha
「What's wrong?」Kuroha suddenly appeared in the room, 
「Windows 7-Chan ran away!」 
「Oh, I saw her going outside a few seconds ago」Kuroha pointed at the back of the Mansion, 
「I get it, I'll go chase her, be right back!」I ran as fast as I could to the back yard. 

When I opened the back door I immediately saw Windows 7-Chan looking up at the sky. Her translucent long silver hair  was being blown by the wind but 
her four colored hairpin was keeping it from getting ruined. 
「Master....」Her eyes were starting to get watery, 
「Let's go back」I invited her to go back, 
「but if I go back, I will cause trouble to Master again」 
「Don't worry, I don't mind」I tried to reassure her, 
「But Master said that you are going to replace me with Windows 8-Chan!」
「I won't replace you with Windows 8-Chan, I don't like Windows 8-chan,  you are the only one for me. Let's go back now」I stretch out my arm towards 
Windows 7-Chan, 
「If I don't like you, I would have replaced you 4 years ago」I added, 
「Really?」She said, 
「I'm not lying」I answered her, 
「I understand, Master!」She held my hand and we went back to my room.

「One thing, Windows 7-Chan」
「What is it? Master?」
「If you are about the same height as me, how in the hell did you fit in my laptop?」
「I don't know too」

Yoshie Residence, Subaru's Mansion, Luna's Room

「What are you writing? Luna」
「A new novel, more like my first novel」
「Really? What genre is it?」
「Romance of the people of Doujin Animation Circle」
「Let me read it」
「No, I am not finished yet. I'll let you read later」
「Okay, call me when it's finish」
「But it's really problematic for us to talk at each other」
「I understand」
「There is no Narrator!」 

Author's Note

My laptop, Windows 7 to be specific was getting really slow sometimes and sometimes it crashes, freezes and other stuff causing me to redo all of my work. I was getting frustrated but then I imagined that Windows 7-Chan was working hard on her own way, hence this story
