My name is Amamiya Hinayuu, I am 17 years old, unlike normal school girls I have spent most of my life inside the hospital because of an unknown disease that made my body really weak. Ever since I was 5 years old, I was on this bed watching anime, soap opera, listening to music or read some manga my childhood friend had bought me. Speaking of my childhood friend, his name is Tsuzuraorizaka Nanashi. We have been together ever since we were born, well according to my parents. Nana-chan visits me everyday and he has a gift for me every time he visits. The most fun I have in my day is thinking of a new way to play a trick at Nana-chan when he enters the hospital room.

Today, I thought of putting something above the sliding door so that when Nana-chan opens it, it will fall on his head like how they do with the blackboard eraser in
school in the anime I watched but I am planning on putting something different since there is no eraser in the hospital. Nana-chan always comes at the exact time which is 2:30 so all I have to do is wait after I set all the things up. Just as always, Nana-chan comes in the room at 2:30 sharp. When he opened the door, the orange I placed above the sliding door fell on top of Nana-chan's head. The orange bounced on top of his head and caught it with his right hand,
「Don't waste food, Hinayuu」He sighed as he take the stool and sat next to me,
「Here, eat it」He peeled the orange for me. He looked like he was tired of taking care of me but I know that he was having fun since he comes to visit me everyday, if he is actually tired of taking care of me, he wouldn't have come here everyday to play with me.
「Look, I found a new series」he showed me a black bag from the nearby book store so I assumed that it was a new manga series,
「A new manga!?」I was surprised that he brought me a new series,
「It's not a manga」He laughed with full confidence,
「What it is then?」I puffed up my cheeks and asked Nana-chan what it was,
「It's a Light Novel called The Half Moon and The Vampire Princess, it's really interesting and it will improve your reading skills a bit」He laughed at me slowly,
「It's rare for you to give me a novel, I hate reading」I complained at him,
「If you don't read it, I won't visit you anymore」He sounded like my mom and he walked towards the door,
「Where are you going?」I asked him,
「I have an important test tomorrow so I have to leave early today. Make sure you read the novel」He went out of the room while waving at me.

After Nana-chan left, I took out the Light Novel from it's bag. The cover of the light novel was a sexy girl in a sexy pose.
「Is this what Nana-chan is interested in?」I was a bit jealous of the girl in the cover and all the girl did was smile at me in her sexy pose and showing a bit of her underwear,
「If only I could wear something daring as this girl is wearing」I stared at the frilly dress the girl was wearing and then looked at my pajama which looked inferior to the one the girl in the cover was wearing. I was so frustrated when I looked at the cover so I decided to read the novel. After I finished the first chapter, my body started to act weird again causing me pain so I pressed the button for the doctor to come to my room.

After the doctor finished checking up my condition, he said that my body won't last for another 2 days or less. The moment I heard that from the doctor, I immediately thought of Nana-chan. I cried myself to sleep, while I was sleeping, I was holding the light novel really tight. In the middle of the night, I was woken up by a sudden pain in my chest. I immediately went for the nurse call but I was too late and I lost my consciousness. I probably died right on the spot, I died without even telling Nana-chan what I really felt.

「Do you want to live?」
「Do you have a wish?」
「Is it worth sacrificing one improtant thing?」
「Hold My hand, Young Lady, let's venture the world you haven't explored yet」
