The Heaven's Library: The Heaven Flower: Chapter 2: Daze

I was standing inside the cable car which heading to the floating island Rikuria once again. While I was waiting for the cable car to reach Rikuria, I felt something really familiar, the same feeling when I first got near Rikuria. The feeling that I am forgetting something really important.
「Wait.......Reason.....What is my reason for coming to Rikuria. To be one of the special? no, that's not right, I am sure I have a different reason for coming here....... but what is it? I can't remember it....」I struggled to remember but I can't remember what it was. I tried really hard but it only caused me a head ache but I still forced myself to remember it and eventually, I lost my consciousness.

「How long will it take?」
「hmmmm.....at least 2-3 years?」
「Eh? Really?」
「Probably....」
「Don't go, I want to be by your side......forever」
「Me too......but if I don't take this chance we won't last long in this place」
「I understand but promise me that you will come back as soon as possible」
「Aah, I promise-」

Before I finished my sentence, I woke up and I was lying down on the bench inside the cable car,
「You have finally woken up, Are you all right now?」The Lady incharge of the cable car was the very first person to ask me,
「I am, sorry for causing trouble」I stood up and bowed down to the lady who helped me,
「For someone to collapse in this cable car is really common because some people are scared of heights or really sensitive to transportation so I am used to it by now」
She just smiled at me then went back to her place and grabbed her microphone,
「Everyone, we are nearing to our destination please hang on the the handle because it will be a little bit shaky near the end」She warned everyone that was in the cable car, she then sat on her own chair. Soon after that, the cable car swayed slowly but it was enough to shake off anyone who was not holding on to something. As we get closer to Rikuria, I saw a giant magic circle right in front of the cable car, the magic circle was big enough to swallow the whole cable car. The magic circle was light blue so I couldn't read what was written to it but when we were close to it, I was able to read it and the magic circle was,
「(Memory Erasing Spell!)」When I was able to recognize what spell it was, It was too late for me to do anything and I had no choice but to go through the spell. Right after we went through the magic circle, I forgot one thing. Where was the dorm again? I know I have the address written on a paper but I already know where it was since I have been in this place for a long time so I was suppose to know where that dorm was but now, I don't remember it. The same thing probably happened when I first came here. I am starting to doubt Rikuria's existence, Rikuria is a dangerous place.

The cable car shrieked as it hits the terminal where it was suppose to stop. When I stepped out of the cable car, I could feel that the air is a bit different probably because that Rikuria is way above the sky. That is not the problem here, the landscape had changed from the way I remember it. Just like the first time I came here, I walked around trying to find the dorm I was assigned. After walking for several minutes, I decided to take a break on the bench in the park. I stared at the blue sky which was closer to me, I was mesmerized by the view and I forgot to look around me.
「Wait? Mashiro!!」I heard someone calling my name from far away,
「Who is it?」I tried to look at where the voice is coming from, the person I saw was Nozomi running towards me,
「Nozomi? Wait, Long Hair!」I exclaimed,
「Eh? You forgot how I look in just one month!? That's mean!」She puffed up her cheek,
「Eh, I was spacing out a bit」I scratched the back of my head as I laugh slowly,
「You're lost again aren't you?」She laughed as me,
「How did you know?」I asked her,
「A Girl's Intuition? Leave that behind, I'll show you your way」She grabbed my hand and dragged me.

After several minutes of me getting dragged by Nozomi, we reached a two story building that looks pretty old.
「Here it is, I can't show you your way inside since I am not assigned in this dorm. hahaha」She laughed slowly while patting me on the back,
「Go on, go on, Nozomi-san doesn't have much time to babysit little Mashiro-kun 」She pushed me inside the building, she then waved at me as she run away. I then searched for the room number which was 207, it was on the first floor not on the second floor. When I opened the door, I immediately saw Yuzu wearing a towel,
「Yo, I am assuming you are my new room mate, if you're not, you will not get away without losing your manhood」She winked at me,
「My name is Shinomiya Mashiro, your new room mate」I entered the room and ignored the usual Yuzu,
「Take the bed above, the bottom bed is mine」She pointed at the upper bed of the bunk bed near the window. I was tired so I went up to the bed and slept.

I was still wondering why Nozomi is really different from what I remember. I guess, I will be able to unveil that mystery tomorrow.....
