Story Four: Date

The Time Forest 2: Date

「Kurogane, Do you still remember our promise?」 Mei tried to remind Kuroha something with a straigth face like always, 
「Promise? What was it again?」 Kuroha scratched the back of his head while despearately trying to remember what Promise he had made with Mei, 
「Date, A date with me」 Mei boldly invited Kuroha to a Date. Right after Mei invited Kuroha, it reminded him that he did promise that they would go on a date. 

It was night, the street post around the Academy zone was already brightly lit. Kuroha and Mei just exited the building. The reason why they were in school until it's really dark was that Mei was working on something that she keeps secret to everyone in the group even Kuroha doesn't know a thing about what she was doing inside the Group room. Everyone doesn't seem to care what things Mei do in the room since she is the "Boss" of the group so everyone just leave the room when the sus starts to set and leave Kuroha alone with Mei since they are worried that something bad might happen to Mei again. 
「What time should we meet?」 Kuroha asked Mei, 
「Tomorrow, 10 AM in front of the Amusement Park outside of the academy. 」Kuroha decided the time since Mei wasn't replying
「I understand」 Mei started to walk to the girl's dormitory. The two did not talk to each other as they walk to their own dormitory. There was an awkward ura forming around until they reached the way where they need to separate ways, 
「see you tomorrow」 Kuroha said his goodbye to Mei, 
「・・・・」 Mei just ignored Kuroha and resumed walking towards the girl's Dormitory. 

Next day~~

Kuroha stood in front of the entrance of the Amusement park. Kuroha came to the amusement park at 9:30 AM and it gave him time to regret was he was wearing, 
「Do I look good?」 Kuroha questioned himself as he look down to check his clothes which were a white Y-shirt and over it was a brown jacket, he was also wearing a normal denim jeans and his clothes made him look the most average person in the city, 
「I should have asked Hiro for fashion advice」 Kuroha sighed as he look at his clothes again, 
「Kurogane, Sorry to make you wait」
「・・・・」

Kuroha was speechless as soon as he saw Mei's clothes. Mei was wearing a sleeveless pink one piece and a short skirt and a black tights. Since Kuroha was a bit taller than Mei, he could easily see Mei's cleavage since her dress shows more skin than the usual uniform. The strap that keeps Mei's one piece was just like a strap for a normal white bra. 
「What's wrong?」Mei asked Kuroha since he was dumbfounded to see Mei in a very rare outfit. 
「I just thought that seeing you wearing something like that is really rare」
「I asked Rikka for an advice and she helped me pick these clothes. You don't like it?」
「ah,no, I like it, you look beautiful」
「Thank you」

After the two had their little greetings, they went in the park and the first attraction they went in was the Jet Coaster.
「Are you sure you will be fine?」Mei asked Kuroha if he was scared of the ride, of coyrse Mei said it with her calm and stoic expression, 
「I'm fine, as long as I hold on tight, I will be fine」
「I understand」
Mei gripped the safety guard of the seat tightly and she closes her eyes and preapred herself. After the ride, Mei could barely stand since she forced herself to ride the jet coaster. 
「Do you want to take a rest on that bench over there?」Kuroha lent his shoulder to Mei then lead her to the bench near the ice cream stand, 
「Thank You, Kurogane」
After Kuroha  let Mei sit on the bench, he went to the ice cream stand and bough two ice cream, One Strawberry flavored and One Blueberry flavored, 
「Here, Strawberry flavor」Kuroha handed Mei the strawberry ice cream, 「It's your favorite, am I wrong?」 Kuroha added, 
「No, I didn't know you still remember my likings」
「I won't forget things about you」
「そう....」
After Mei's reply, Kuroha sat down beside Mei but the distance between them was far but was enough for them to hear each other, 
「・・・・」Kuroha didn't say anything as he slowly lick the ice cream he was holding, 
「What's wrong?」
「ah, Nothing. I was just thinking back in the day when we were waiting for your mom」
「Yes, I was remembering it too earlier」
「Wait, you've already finished your ice cream!?」
「Not enough」
「Do you want mine?」
「I do」
「Wait, are you sure you can eat bluberry? didn't you hate blueberry? When we were a kid, I remember you slapping my ice cream away from my hand since you didn't like it」
「It's different now」

Mei licked the Blue berry ice cream slowly as if she was savoring the taste. When Mei finally finished the ice cream, Kuroha stood up and tried to go to their next attraction which was the haunted house but when Kuroha stood up he heard, 
「Hurry, Kudou-kun, we will lose Kurogane-kun and Futami」
「I know, I know」
「Uhh....aren't our voice a bit too loud?」
「yes, we were too loud」
「Why?」
「Kurogane-kun already spotted us」

Behind Kuroha and Mei was Rikka,Hiro and Mii. They were following Kuroha and Mei the whole time, 
「Mei, let's go!」Kuroha grabbed Mei's hand and Kuroha ran as fast as he could without pulling Mei too much, 
「You two! hurry up, we'll lose the both of them!」Rikka rushed Hiro and Mii then they chased Kuroha and Mei. 

「Rikka......」Mei mumbled as she finally got to keep up with Kuroha's speed without letting go of Kuroha's hand, 
「haa....haa.....It seems like we finally lost them」
「・・・・」
「What's wrong, Mei?」
「Kuro......I just thought that Rikka came here because she was worried about me but we just brushed them off」
「Don't worry, I'll apologize to Kitami later」
「I understand」
Kuroha rubbed Mei's head and she blushed. While Kuroha was rubbing Mei's head, Kuroha spotted the ferris wheel, 
「Let's go ride the Ferris Wheel」Kuroha once again, grabbed Mei's hand then they walked towards the ferris wheel.

「Kuro, do you regret joining my group?」Mei asked Kuroha who was sitting on a soft seat across Mei. 
「I don't regret it. Thanks to you everyday is really fun」
「Really?」
「Aah, I don't regret it. For me, the place where I belong is.........nevermind」What Kuroha wanted to say was"The place where I belong is beside Mei"

Vision Change ~ Ichijiku to Kuroha ~ 

I couldn't say it, after what that person had said, I can't say it now. I will never leave Mei's side, I promise......

Damn, I hate the fact that I keep spotting minor details. You misspell sun, aura, course and bought. And have you seen a one piece before? You should really look in the web for clothing suggestion. My image of mei got destroyed when you added another skirt to a perfectly good dress.
