The End of The Spring

After a long time of fighting, only two were left, the two people who was mainly the cause of this meaningless war. When the last battle started, the cherry blossoms was petals falling down creating a beautiful view covering the blood filled ground. All I could see was the sparks made by their blades clashing and all I could hear was the sounds made by the metals clashing. During the battle, The Moon had turn Golden, Blood Red and Pitch Black......As the moon disappeared and the sun had already appeared but was immediately covered by the heavy gray clouds as the rain had started to fall. One was laying down facing the gray sky and the other one was staring down at the one who was laying down. All she did was stare at him with a blank face as if that she doesn't know what happened. The one who was laying down has his eyes opened which usually says that he is still living but even if the rain drop hit his eye, he didn't blink. His last words was, 

「.........meet again......some........day.......」 The girl then kneel down and reached towards his eyes then closed it with a regret written all over her face. The girl then left the corpse behind and that moment, the last day of spring had ended.

I was about to say 'things' but is pretty vague just to call it that, So I used color as a description. And you don't say what any particular date, so maybe they fought around 3 days or so. You only said that the moment the fight ended was the end of Spring.
