Entry Number 2: Touka 

The Heaven’s Song 

The war was over, the sun had already set a few minutes ago. Even though we won, I feel like we’ve lost more than we started with. The moon had finally come out, lighting everything and the reflection of the water in the beach shined brighter than it usually do shining on a scene me and everyone didn’t want to see.

The sand of the shore was soaked with dark red, a girl with a light brown hair was mourning over a boy’s corpse which she was holding on her arms. The boy has a fatal cut on his body cutting everything inside him. Blood was flowing out of his loosely closed mouth. The girl was crying as if that she had lost everything she has in this world, I envy her because she is able to freely express her feelings unlike me who voluntarily refuse not to express any signs of sadness. All I could do was watch and wait for her to calm down. It took a while for her to calm down and when she finally calmed down, she said 

「Please smile….」Tears were still flowing out of her eyes. I noticed one thing, her eyes that was filled with hope, had diminished. Her resolve had disappeared, her emerald green eyes had lost it’s light. Her eyes displayed true despair. After a while, she wiped off her tears and started to sing as her last hope for him disappears…...
