The Ruined World: Chapter 1: The World's Backyard

When our swords clashed, a bright light emitted out of it. I closed my eyes to prevent my eyes from going blind, I jumped away from The Demon Lord. When I opened my eyes, the Demon Lord looked like he was trying to brush away a fly that was flying around his face. After a while, he stopped trying to do whatever he was trying to do and stood straight in front of me. Without wasting any time, he charged right towards me with his sword and I did the same thing. When our weapons clashed, our swords immediately broke. The other half of my sword flew right towards my left arm cutting a bit of my left arm. The Demon Lord's other half flew right towards his right arm, his sword pierced his armor leaving the sword at his right arm. The pain from my left arm somehow logged me out of the system. 

I woke up on my bed with a really sharp pain on my left arm. When I checked my left arm, there was blood covering my left arm. I got a cut on my left arm, the same place where my broken sword had cut me. I don't what happened in there but I now know that the place where me and the Demon Lord fought is not a gaming system. I immediately went to the bathroom and cleansed the cut then covered it with bandage. Now that I know that the place where we fought is not a gaming system, there is only one thing that could explain it all.........The World's Backyard. I didn't think that those fairy tales that was told to me by my mom could be actually true. I was not sure if my theory is actually true so I decided to call Saeki and ask her about the New Virtual Reality Console since she is an expert at gaming.

When I asked Saeki about the console, she told me:
「?? When is that wonderful console coming out? I haven't heard of anything like that, if something wonderful like that exists, I would have already know it already but I don't know anything about it. Nothing, so...when is it coming out? I would be happy if you tell me」 She has her energetic voice just as always,
「I'll tell you when it comes out」 I didn't want her to be involved on whatever danger that I am diving in.
「Thanks! I'll search it on the net, if I find anything, I'll tell ya!」 She laughed loudly as she hanged up the phone.

After talking to Saeki, I stared at the box that was named as the new Virtual Gaming System. I couldn't think of any way to confirm my theory further. While I was desperately trying to think of a way to confirm my theory, I poked the gaming console with my index finger. When I blinked my eyes, I was falling down from the sky, 
「Eh?ehhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!」 I was panicking because I was suddenly transported in the sky. All I could do was wait for my body to land in the ground. After a few minutes, I landed on the ground with a loud sound the enacted throughout the forest.
「If I wasn't the 2nd Hero, I wouldn't have lived through that fall」 I was reassured by me living through that fall. I stood up and brushed off the rubble on my clothes. When I looked around, all I could see was trees meaning that I am inside a forest. If what I was thinking was right, this place is the The World's Backyard
