The Time Forest:The God of Reincarnation:Chapter 3: Mei Promise

Ever since Mei and I met, we started to play every day. It's been 3 years since We first met. She showed me many types of magic and she even taught me how to use magic but it seems like I don't have magic in me so I couldn't use it. I told Mei to give on making me using magic but she wouldn't give up,
「Just because I can't use magic, it doesn't mean that we can't be friends」 I reassured Mei,
「No,No...You don't understand it.....」 She looked really desperate on teaching me how to use magic,
「Why?」 I asked her why she is so desperate on forcing me to learn magic,
「I won't be able to be with Kuro. I am going to Higashi Riyuu Academy tomorrow so I need you to use magic today....I want you to come with me!」 She
held my hand tightly, her eyes are getting watery too,
「I don't want to be separated from you!」 Tears had started to come out of her eyes. She started crying and she hugged me tightly,
「I don't want to,I don't want to,I don't want to.!!! Kuro!! I don't want to............」 She cried aggressively screaming.

I just let her cry until she fell asleep huggin me.After several minutes of Mei sleeping, her mom came to pick her up,
「I'm sorry, Kuroha-kun. Mei needs to go to that school. I hope you understand it」 Mei's mom then carried her away but I stopped her,
「Wait!」 I called out to her and she turned around,
「What is it? Kuroha-kun?」 She asked me,
「Tell this to Mei: I'll come and see her again, it's a promise」 I told her clearly and smiled out of relief,
「Thank You, Kuroha-kun」 She looked like a cartoon character who had escaped from danger and said [Phew]. Then she walked away.

Vision Change ~Mei Vision~

I woke up seeing an unfamiliar ceiling,
「Where is this place?」 I asked what anyone would ask if they wake up in an unfamiliar place,
「This is the Higashi Riyuu Academy's dorm. Good Morning, Mei」 Mom was standing right in front of me, she is carrying a paper bag from a fast food restaurant,
「Here is some food, I am sorry for leaving you behind alone but it's for your sake」 Mom looked really sad,
「Kuro? Where is Kuro?」 I asked about where kuroha is. Mom's sad face turned worst then she kneeled down and rubbed my head,
「Kuroha-kun said that he will come and see you, he promised」 Mom started to cry and apologized to me,
「.............」 I was speechless, I couldn't even say goodbye to Kuro properly,
「Get out....Get Out!!」 I yelled at my mom and she honestly followed it. After that,I looked around my room which was really big and fancy,
「Kuro.......」 I couldn't stop my tears from flowing out of my eyes.

It's been 4 years since I came in this Academy, Kuro didn;t come in and visit me even once. I kept waiting for him and I eventually gave up because I kept on focusing to improving my magic. I even got a second name [The Cold Queen] I asked them why they named me that and they responded with
「It's because futami-san doesn't laugh or smile. Your always cool and blunt」. I wonder what wouuld Kuro say if he see me like this, unable to smile or laugh.I even made my own original magic and I am now the top Magic User in the Academy. I did good but it's not enough, I am will surpass my current self so I could go back and meet Kuro with a proud reputation to show him.
