Hero's Dream

Hero's Dream

A Poem by SR Urie

A Hero’s Dream

We stood the watch for so long,

The battle seemed to had been won,

Yet everything now adds to zero

Impugned passing fads cloud the sun.

It descends from one a*****e’s plan,

One mass’s run to take the liberty away

From every American son.

Now the President pretends he’s Nero,

Like we all listen to the novice song.

For all of those who have died

For the federal government’s lies,

For nothing’s left for the Democratic Left

But the young, the hung, and the unsung.
