Talk.

Talk.

A Poem by Casey Nicolee
"

About my mother who seems to say she's " Stopped" Heroine. Liar.

"

You talk.

You exaggerate.

I’m afraid to say, you talk too much.

Your mouth moves faster than your brain can receive what you want to say.

Sadly, you’re your own worst enemy.

You’re nothing but a pathological liar.

How sad is this.

You feel like you’ve done your part as a mother.

Stolen property, Cops everywhere.

And I’m full of s**t.

Ha. How convenient Mom.

Hidden in the roof; Jewelry, Electronics.

The sad part is that your daughter needs you more than you know.

Just, do us all a favor and

Give it up; you’re not happy with yourself.

You’re delusional.

You talk.

You exaggerate.

Just stop Talking and listen for once.
