White LiesA Poem by MinorArt
White sheets
And white silk Slinking from milky shoulders Clean Like a white wedding morning White paper clouds And a snow blanket, crisp Clear liquids, transparent White teeth sinking into my skin And cars outside are just white noise Breeze I whisper something in your ear Crystal clear, Faint sounds of something odd drop to your palms from my lips A lie, white as the sheets First of the day Musky, thick in the air Dark cloud Dirty tongue Fourth one comes before the fifth And I'm covered in filth Fleas Eating away at the whites of your eyes Devoid of fear White guilt, mine Wide mouth, smile pretty Wild kisses Between breaths of white lies I plant my lips on your eyes Don't look at the lies Growing mould, getting cold Piling up around you Just listen to my voice Mellow, sweet Dripping white lies at your feet Sticky Until the room is black And my love is black Your eyes still shut, still blind to the black You taste my mouth The lies inside And they taste bitter I dab whiskey on my tongue And tell you it's liquor Touch me, enjoy me Let me numb you, wear you out So I can tell more lies And you lay still, on my porcelain sheets Collecting my lies like specs of dust White to the ear, black to the heart © 2016 MinorArt |
