Rewind

Rewind

A Poem by MinorArt
"

Rage, adrenaline rush, and all that jazz you feel when you can't wait to fall out of love

"
Rewind
Bathtub, rum
Two lines of coke
Unwind
You're deaf and im blind
I don't even like your kind
Throw our bodies together
In a pit, and then bind
Whatever
Untie, unbind
Sex with a stranger
Three lines of coke
Unwind
Too busy now
Call me later
I'll wait
Call me never
I won't pick up anyway
I'll be here
Liquor, lust
Coke and swings
Unwind
I'm indifferent
And You burned me alive
Either way, matching scars
If it matters that much
Take the victory
You win
Lay it in your bed
Sleep with it instead
I won't erase you
I won't forget
I won't rip you out of my chest
I'll just stop caring
You'll just fade away
No goodbyes
Sometimes I'll cry at nights
Why
I'm mourning
Not you
Not us
I'm mourning a loss of time
A leap of hope
It's temporary
Just waiting it out
You're just another one
Replaceable
Another misplaced love
Nothing they haven't written about
Same old s**t they've been singing about
For a million years now
It's all been talked about
Stop talking
Stop crawling back
I'm not here
I'm in the spotlight, underground
Whiskey, dilated blacks
There's no more coke
Used it all up
Just like us
We're used up
Not like before
Something beautiful
Maybe dysfunctional
You used me up
Till I wasn't enough
Till I'd gone bad
And you could do better
We've expired
We're rotting
We're past the best of us
Bla bla bla
Shut up
Unwind
