Silent Senses

Silent Senses

A Poem by StrongandHelpful
"

hearing, sight, movement, touch, smell, taste, balance

"
Silence, but the quiet wind
Thoughts race through the mind

A mirrored image stands in front
The eyes meet and are locked

Waves crash on the shore
A hand moves forward, slowly

Two hands meet
Soft bare-feet in the sand

Saltwater
or their scent?

Saltwater on the lips through the wind
or a kiss?

Standing confident and feeling terror
Seeing grace and feeing sadness
