A dark shadow looms on the floor
A silhouette connected to the ceiling
A chair leaning on the door
An act committed based on feeling

Drops of salt racing down the window
Ashen clouds laced upon the sky
Perched on the sill, an ebony crow
A witness letting out a cry

I felt really depressed yesterday and this just rolled off the tip of my pen...
