InsoucianceA Poem by Nada ZProse about a particular walk.
It started off like a usual day, lazy sauntering among the dispersing mist of dirt along the fenced pathway of the park that has been listlessly kicked up by my feet. Dirt that bluntly stains the mild, gray apertures of my shoes a powdered auburn. The sterile gaze of the sun met unto mine and I turn away at a sweltering pace while through discomfort I close one eye more than the other. I basically feel too lazy to keep both eyes open proportionally to not let the eyes be affected by different colors of blind radiation. My right eye now sees an all-encompassing blue due to having closed for so long. A flash of black, edging yellow, burnt orange to veinous red " all of which has not affected me in the slightest " and into the blue, such a wonderful radiance to see through. I did it again, now my left eye has turned to a blue askew. The variation of blue painting the wilderness that I saw across the fence, in a moment of simple appropriation, I saw more than one nature.
